Pascal Groß will miss Borussia Dortmund’s upcoming away match against Hoffenheim, the club confirmed in a brief statement on Tuesday.
The 33-year-old midfielder sustained a minor ligament injury to his knee during Dortmund’s 3-2 victory over Borussia Mönchengladbach at the weekend and will therefore be sidelined for Saturday’s match.
In his absence, Julian Brandt or Carney Chukwuemeka could step in to partner Felix Nmecha in midfield.
This season, Groß has made 43 appearances for Dortmund, scoring one goal and providing 13 assists.
