Borussia Dortmund is making great strides towards signing Kauã Prates, as Sky Germany and others have reported overnight.
It was only yesterday that it was announced that BVB and the left-back have already agreed on a transfer next summer.
Now, the Westphalians just need to convince Prates’ employers Cruzeiro, who rejected an initial offer of just under €10million.
Nevertheless, the deal is now just a formality, reports the WAZ. Ultimately, a transfer fee of €12million is deemed “quite possible”.
Prates’ contract expires at the end of 2027. He can also play centrally, made five appearances for the Brazilian U-17 national team last year.
Prates has played 14 professional matches for Cruzeiro so far. All signs point to him taking the next steps in his career at Dortmund.
