Sport Bild reports that Paul Wanner faces a decision on his future at parent club Bayern Munich, once he returns from his loan at Heidenheim.
The 19-year-old wants to be a part of the Bayern first team and if he is not a part of the first 14-15 players in the squad, he will look to go out on his third loan.
There are plenty of clubs within the Bundesliga interested in bringing Wanner in on loan. Borussia Dortmund have had a long-term desire to sign Wanner, while VfB Stuttgart and Eintracht Frankfurt are also interested in a loan signing of the German youth international.
However, despite the interest of these clubs, there are doubts about whether they would try and sign Wanner permanently instead of just being a short-term stop in the 19-year-old’s career.
After a hot start at current club Heidenheim, Wanner has struggled in recent weeks but that is also due to Heidenheim also struggling in the league. They currently sit 16th in the Bundesliga with relegation a real possibility.
