Diogo Jota is a professional footballer who plays in the Premier League for Liverpool football club. The Portuguese footballer joined the reds last season from Wolverhampton Wanderers. Since his transfer, Anfield has found another source of important and crunch goals besides Salah and Mane.
Jurgen Klopp used to admire the player for quite a long time. Not only in the Liverpool squad but his move to Anfield also solidified his place in the Portugal national team as well. He was instrumental in the World cup qualifiers as well. Since his days at Wolves, he adapted quite well to the physical side of the Premier League. And that is the reason he is still going strong. A significant amount of net worth is also a part of his success.
Early life and football development:
Born in 1996, in Porto, Portugal, Diogo Jota started his football development at an early age. He joined Paços de Ferreira’s youth setup in 2013, from Gondomar. He came through the ranks of the academy and signed his professional contract with Ferreira. Back in 2016, Atletico Madrid signed him. However, he never got to play with the Spanish giants.
He was sent back to his hometown to Porto on loan for a year. In the following season, he spent another season on loan with Wolves. His progress in the squad, made them sign him permanently. After spending two seasons there, he left the Molineux, as Liverpool came knocking at the door.

Life in Merseyside:
Jota settled in very well since the start of the deal, as the red half of the Merseyside offered him unconditional love and support. His goals proved to be really important. The 26-year-old was quite highly valued even before his signing.
So it was quite difficult to deal with the pressure. But he dealt with it quite perfectly and has formed a deadly combination with Mo Salah and Sadio Mane. His scoring streak went on as he won the Premier League and multiple cup competitions with Liverpool.
