Diego Martínez has reached an agreement with Espanyol to become the club’s next manager, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The former Granada manager is set to replace Vicente Moreno after the Spanish coach was sacked by the Catalan club.
The 41-year-old, who took Granada on a Europa League run in 2021, had been previously linked with the Sevilla job.
Espanyol’s official announcement is expected soon.
