According to RMC Sport, Didier Deschamps will be heard in front of the National Assembly as part of an inquiry into the operational failures of French sporting institutions and authorities. The France manager will be heard by deputies of the National Assembly on the 2nd of November.
As part of the inquiry, Al-Ittihad striker Karim Benzema and former FFF president Noël Le Graët will also be questioned by the commission in the coming weeks. The summons to be heard by the commission are obligatory under Article 6 of Ordinance No. 58-1100 of November 17, 1958. This means that the Les Bleus boss has no option but to attend the hearing.
Deschamps is expected to join the commission via video conference rather than in person. For several weeks, the inquiry has heard from several sporting figures and stakeholders. This week the former Sports minister, Roxana Maracineanu, will be heard by the commission.
