German Football Association president Bernd Neuendorf has confirmed that “good talks” are underway with Julian Nagelsmann over the vacant Germany job.
Earlier today, Bild reported that Julian Nagelsmann is set to replace the recently fired Hansi Flick as Germany coach on a contract that runs until the end of next year’s European Championship.
The German Football Association (DFB) has since confirmed to SID that first talks between DFB president Bernd Neuendorf, DFB sporting director Rudi Völler and Julian Nagelsmann took place today.
Neuendorf added:
“We are in good talks.”
