Chelsea striker Armando Broja “fits the bill” for Leeds United, says journalist Pete O’Rourke.
Since the start of the year, the 20-year-old has attracted plenty of interest, including from the Elland Road outfit.
What is the latest news involving Broja?
According to GOAL, West Ham, Newcastle United, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Napoli are all targeting Broja following his successful loan spell at Southampton.
The same outlet states that he could be sold for £25m, though manager Thomas Tuchel will take a look at him in pre-season first.
Back in January, TEAMtalk had claimed that Leeds wanted the Albania international, who has a CIES Football Observatory value of £34m, so perhaps they could also join the race to sign him this summer.
During his loan spell at St Mary’s, Broja made 38 appearances, scoring nine goals across those games.

What has O’Rourke said about Broja and Leeds?
O’Rourke thinks Broja would be a great addition to Leeds’ squad, though he fears he may be a bit too expensive for the Yorkshire club.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the journalist said: “He fits the profile. He’s young, he’s a goalscorer and he can lead the line on his own playing up front.
“I think he would definitely be somebody who could prove to be a good signing for Leeds United if they were to get him, but he might cost a bit of money. So financially, it might be a hard deal to do, but Armando Broja has all the attributes to be a success at a number of clubs.”
What are some of Broja’s strengths?
While Broja’s record this season suggests he needs to improve his finishing, which is understandable given his age, he can be pleased with his movement and how he attacks spaces.
On the Chelsea striker, Albania assistant manager Sergio Porrini recently told TUTTOmercatoWEB: “From last year to this he has grown a lot, and at Southampton, he has exploded.
“His greatest qualities are in progression, especially the ball and chain. [He’s] less good, on the other hand, with his back to the goal, in the construction of the action. But in the spaces, he is devastating.”
After Patrick Bamford’s injury problems this term, signing a new centre-forward has to be a priority for Jesse Marsch in the upcoming transfer window.
Broja looks like a good option, but if Leeds want him, they are probably going to have to fight for his signature, and that is if Chelsea even decide to let him go this summer.
