An insight into the details of something of an unwritten pact to have been agreed upon between La Liga giants Barcelona and their counterparts at French outfit Paris Saint-Germain has today been provided.
The info comes courtesy of Diario Sport, and comes fresh off rumours of the latter preparing an assault on the signature of a leading member of Hansi Flick’s squad.
Amid the ongoing struggles of Barcelona to register Dani Olmo for the 2nd half of the season, it had been suggested over recent days that PSG were considering positioning themselves in the fray for what would be a shock January transfer.
If the latest word stemming from the media on Sunday is anything to go by, however, then no such approach will in fact be forthcoming.
As per Sport, Deco and Luis Campos, the respective sporting directors at the Camp Nou and Parc des Princes, maintain an excellent relationship behind the scenes.
So much so that ‘between the two there is a kind of unwritten non-aggression pact’.
This ‘pact’ would be based chiefly around neither club moving for a key figure at the other, in particular one in such a precarious situation as Dani Olmo at present.
