Matthijs de Ligt took a step forward in his recovery from injury as he returned to individual training today.
For the first time since injuring his knee against Bochum, Matthijs de Ligt was back on the training pitch today.
According to Bild, the Dutch center-back went through 20 minutes of individual training with his boots on, doing jogging, coordination and lateral movement exercises.
The training went without any problems, and if everything goes according to plan, de Ligt will return to the Bayern squad after the international break against Mainz.
De Ligt has missed Bayern’s last four matches against Preußen Münster, RB Leipzig, FC Copenhagen and Bochum.
