Alphonso Davies no longer appears to have a long-term future with Bayern Munich.
According to The Athletic, the Canadian international has reached a verbal agreement with Real Madrid.
The report claims that, as things look now, Davies will either join the Spanish giants in the summer, provided Bayern and Real can agree on a transfer fee, or on a free transfer when his contract expires in 2025.
So far, the two clubs have yet to open negotiations for the left-back, with Bayern still hoping to convince him to extend his contract.
However, should Davies make it clear that he wants to leave, the Bavarians are likely sell in the summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer.
