Amid speculation surrounding Alphonso Davies’ future at Bayern Munich, his representative Nick Huoseh has confirmed that he has been approached by other clubs regarding the Canadian international.

Alphonso Davies’ agent, Nick Huoseh, has confirmed that he has been approached by other clients about his client.

Real Madrid, in particular, are said to be keen on Davies, and while Huoseh didn’t mention any specific names, he did confirm that the Canadian left-back is indeed the subject of interest from other clubs.

“There is a lot of navigating to do. I have spoken to other clubs – they have texted and spoken to us; but we haven’t had any in-depth conversations with anybody,” Huoseh told TSN.

Speaking to Bild in late May, Huoseh confirmed that negotiations over a new contract for Davies beyond 2025 had been put on hold following the sacking of club bosses Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic, describing the situation at Bayern as “chaotic”.

He now admits that Davies’ future at the club is up in the air, with two years remaining on the left-back’s contract.

“We don’t know what will happen in a year from now,” Huoseh admitted.

“He’s happy at Bayern. He’s won a number of titles at Bayern and they’re a good club, one of the top clubs in the world. And there are not many clubs he can move to when you think about it. There are a select few clubs that an athlete like Alphonso Davies can go to.”

Davies himself also spoke to TSN about his uncertain situation, saying:

“The transfer rumours are out there, but at the end of the day they’re still rumours. I still have two years left at Bayern. My main goal is to play at Bayern and help the team as much as possible.”

“It’s a turnover situation right now [at Bayern], you can see there is change in management, but that doesn’t really affect the players. For me it’s important to play for the club I’m at.”
