Darren Till Wants Jake Paul Super-Fight, & Even Plans to One-Up Him in Boxing

Former UFC welterweight title contender Darren Till is targeting one of the biggest names in all of boxing just two months after making his debut in the sport. The 32-year-old Scouser hasn’t fought in MMA since being granted his release from the UFC in early 2023, and even though he has made it clear that he has plans to return to MMA’s leading promotion in the future, as of right now, he is focusing on the sport of boxing after making his Misfits debut in January 2025.

Till demolished Anthony Taylor, who is a credible name in the influencer boxing space in his professional debut and showed that he is a level above the influencers who are not at pro-level. The biggest fight available in the influencer or crossover boxing space is, of course, Jake Paul, and the YouTube sensation who squared off with Mike Tyson in 2024, is firmly on the radar of ‘The Gorilla.’

Darren Till Targeting Jake Paul Superfight

With a showdown against Paul in the back of his mind, Till has picked out the American’s biggest weakness

Darren Till made a great first impression in his professional boxing debut back in January, and despite being just months into his boxing career, the UFC veteran is targeting a showdown with one of the biggest stars in boxing today, Jake Paul. During an interview with Genting Casino, Till expressed heavy interest in facing ‘The Problem Child’ and even pinpointed one of his biggest weaknesses he could capitalise on if the fight were to happen, while also giving him credit for his ability.

Till said the following to Genting Casino:

“Jake’s a pro boxer now. Obviously, every fight I see him, he gets better. He improves. (He’s) a little bit slow, you can still see he lacks in certain areas. But by no means is he an influencer boxer that everyone was saying. For me, he’s a proper, proper boxer.”

Despite believing Paul has weaknesses and is slow, Till has acknowledged and shown respect to him for the work he has been putting in the ring over the last few years, branding him “a proper, proper boxer.” If the fight is to happen, ‘The Gorilla’ has made it clear that he wants it to take place in his home country of England.

“That (me v Jake Paul) would be a mega pay-per-view. Not in America, in England, especially bringing in the whole Logan, Jake, KSI, me.”

Darren Till Insists Fight Against Tommy Fury Is Still a Possibility

Till and Fury were scheduled to fight in January but the latter pulled out

Tommy Fury vs Darren Till press conference

Even though Tommy Fury pulled out of their scheduled January showdown, Darren Till has insisted that the fight still remains a possibility, potentially in the next year. If the fight gets rebooked and Till is victorious over Fury, he would one-up Jake Paul as ‘The Problem Child’ suffered his only boxing loss so far to Fury via split decision in early 2023. If Till can do what Paul couldn’t, it could push his stock up even more, which would make the fight even more enticing to Paul and his team.

“No, The Tommy Fury Fight isn’t off. One year, maybe one year down the line.”
