Dani Ceballos already knows that Real Madrid directors want him to stay at the club and after last night’s win over Valencia, he is now sure that the club’s supporters also want him to stay in the Spanish capital.
The creative midfielder hopes to reach an agreement with Madrid in the coming weeks, according to Marca.
The Madrid club have also communicated their intention to extend his deal, which expires in June.
Ceballos has gone from being on the fringes to the fans wanting him to sign a new deal at the Santiago Bernabéu, as they chanted his name last night.
Carlo Ancelotti has, on more than one occasion, publicly defended the former Real Betis player and is clearly happy to have him in his squad, and more recently in his starting eleven.
Ceballos has been in fine form and deserves a new deal at the club as they continue to introduce more players into the engine room and manage Toni Kroos and Luka Modric’s game time.
