Following Real Madrid’s 2-0 victory at San Mamés against Athletic Club, Dani Ceballos was asked about his future with Los Blancos, report Estadio Deportivo.
There is a great deal of uncertainty regarding whether Dani Ceballos will stay at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu beyond June. The Spaniard’s contract is set to expire with Real Madrid at the end of the season and the club are showing no indication that they are willing to sit down with the player and his representatives to discuss a possible renewal of his deal.
Ceballos has been linked with a move to Real Betis for the last couple of months, which he denied.
The 26-year-old was asked about what the future holds:
“There is no bigger club than Real Madrid. I have four months left on my contract and it’s time to grit my teeth. I have many games ahead of me to prove that I have the level to continue playing for Real Madrid.”
Ceballos scored the winning goal against Villarreal in the Copa del Rey midweek and started against Athletic Club in La Liga yesterday.
