In an interview with Relevo, Real Madrid and Spain right-back Dani Carvajal has spoken about Jude Bellingham and his start to life at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Let’s talk about Bellingham, have you ever seen such a quick adaptation to the club?
“I have not been here for when Cristiano Ronaldo or Sergio Ramos came to the club first. But since I’ve been here I’ve never seen such an adaptation. Not only in sporting terms, he is putting in great performances, but also in the dressing room, in the relationship with his team-mates,” Carvajal explains.
“He is a player who comes with a lot of pressure, he has cost a lot of money and all the spotlight is on him. From the very first moment, he’s been chatting with his team-mates, talking to one, talking to another, joking. He trains and stays back to work. I think he’s a fantastic guy and he’s landed on his feet.”
Bellingham keeps scoring
Bellingham has already found the back of the net five times this season and it has only taken the England international four games to do so, becoming La Liga’s top scorer in the meantime.
