In his controversial interview with Piers Morgan on talk.tv, Cristiano Ronaldo discussed the favourites for the 2022 World Cup.
“I’m very optimistic. We have a fantastic coach, we have a good generation of football players. I’m looking forward that we’re going to an amazing World Cup.
“It’s gonna be tough. Extremely difficult. But everything is possible. But of course, we’re gonna compete.”
Ronaldo added that France, Spain, Argentina, Germany and Brazil are the teams to beat in Qatar.
The Manchester United forward says that he thinks England “have a chance” like Portugal.
