According to Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho will sign a contract extension and the official announcement is only a matter of time.
The 18-year-old Argentinian youth international has impressed hugely since making his debut for Erik ten Hag’s side. So far, Garnacho has made nine appearances for the Red Devils, scored on two occasions, and provided one assist. The winger’s current contract is due to expire in 2023 which has sparked some speculation as to where the young prospect could go.
However, as per Plettenberg’s sources, he has been informed that a contract extension at Man United is certainly on the cards and it is only a matter of time before it gets officially announced.
Garnacho is one of the Premier League’s young players to watch and will certainly feature more for Man United over the coming months and into next season. Just how far the young Argentinian can go is completely up to him.
