Confirmed lineups: Stuttgart vs. Atalanta

The tram sheets for this evening’s Champions’ League battle between VfB Stuttgart and Atalanta Bergamo are in.

Sebastian Hoeneß’ VfB Stuttgart seek to build upon their surprise win over Serie A giants Juventus FC in the most recent Champions’ League round with another three points against defending Europa League Champions Atalanta Bergamo at home this evening. The 2023./24 Bundesliga runners-up have currently amassed four points through three rounds of the 2024/25 UCL competition.

Hoeneß makes just one changes to the starting XI that drew 0-0 against defending Bundesliga champions Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the league last Friday night. Chris Führich receives his chance in place of the injured Jamie Leweling. Bergamo striker El Bilal Touré retains his starting place against his parent club. Anrie Chase also again features as a starter.
