Both Germany and Slovakia go into tonight’s clash in Leipzig with one goal in mind: three points.
The two sides sit level on points at the top of Group A, with Germany carrying a better goal difference. Both sides know that three points would secure their place at next year’s World Cup.
Slovakia overcame tonight’s opponents when they met in Bratislava back in September, and while it will be a more difficult test in Leipzig this evening, the chance for an upset is on as they look to reach the World Cup Finals for the first time since 2010.
The lineups for tonight’s huge encounter are as follows:
Germany – 4-2-3-1: Baumann – Kimmich, Tah, Schlotterbeck, Raum – Goretzka, Pavlovic – Sane, Wirtz, Gnabry – Woltemade
Slovakia – 4-3-3: Dúbravka – Gyömber, Skiriniar, Obert, Hancko – Lobotka, Duda, Bero – Duris, Strelec, Sauer
