Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting remains on the sidelines for Bayern Munich and will not be able to play against Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday.
The veteran striker missed last week’s 5-3 win over Augsburg due to a back problem that is still keeping him out of action.
“Choupo is out because of his back. We will have to see how he recovers,” Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann said at a press conference today.
The good news for Bayern is that everyone else should be fit to play, apart from their long-term absentees.
“Mathys Tel had some stiffness in a muscle. I don’t think he’ll miss the game. Everyone else is fit,” Nagelsmann added.
