Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is set to return to the Bayern squad for their clash with FC Köln.

Bayern Munich have been boosted by the return of Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting ahead of their last game of the season against FC Köln tomorrow.


Having featured just once since the beginning of April due to persistent injury problems, the veteran is finally set to make his return to the Bayern squad.

“Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is ready,” revealed Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel at the pre-match press conference.

“We already began reintroducing him last week and he has been fully involved for the last two sessions without any issues. If it’s the same after final training, he will be in the squad.”

Bayern head into the game two points behind Borussia Dortmund at the top of the table.
