At the age of 33, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has established himself as a regular starter up front for Bayern Munich following the departure of Robert Lewandowski last summer.
As a result, his expiring contract is set to be extended for another year, Sky Deutschland reported last night.
According to Bild, Choupo-Moting’s annual wages will rise from €5 million to €10 million including bonuses.
However, the veteran striker will have to perform to get the most out of his new deal, with Bild reporting that the bonuses will be linked to titles, goals and assists.
