New Chelsea signing Jadon Sancho has on Monday sent a message the way of Real Madrid counterpart Kylian Mbappé.
This, of course, comes fresh off an outing to remember for the latter on Sunday night.
Afforded a starting berth in Real Madrid’s La Liga meeting with Real Betis, the Frenchman, at the 4th time of asking, at last broke his duck in the Spanish top-flight.
After slotting home at the near post midway through the 2nd-half, Mbappé followed up with his brace a short time later, to guide Carlo Ancelotti’s troops to an eventual 2-0 triumph.
Post-match, in turn, messages of congratulations have poured in for a player who had been subjected to heavy criticism in the media over the course of the last couple of weeks.
And, as alluded to above, adding his name to the list of Mbappé’s backers in the early hours of Monday was Jadon Sancho.
Taking to the comments section of the 25-year-old’s latest Instagram post, wide-man Sancho – fresh off a high-profile summer transfer of his own – wrote:
‘Never in doubt!’
