La Liga giants Barcelona are expressing a fresh interest in the signature of Chelsea star Enzo Fernández.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing English sources, who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
Midfielder Enzo, for his part, is in the midst of something of a difficult start to the campaign in the Premier League.
Owing to a prolonged stretch of underwhelming form, in fact, the Argentine international has recently lost his place in the XI of Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca.
And keeping a close eye on as much, it is understood, are the powers that be at the aforementioned Barcelona.
As per MD, amid an ongoing search for reinforcements in the middle of the park, Enzo has made his way back onto the radar of Deco and the Camp Nou transfer team.
Barcelona expressed an interest in the 23-year-old prior to his move to Stamford Bridge, and would be ready to pounce, in the case of Enzo seeking out a new adventure.
Italian heavyweights Inter Milan, meanwhile, are also tipped as an interested party.
