The Telegraph reports that Bayern Munich have had an initial bid rejected for Chelsea assistant coach Anthony Barry.
Chelsea have rejected an initial offer from Bayern Munich for assistant coach Anthony Barry, according to The Telegraph.
After replacing Julian Nagelsmann as Bayern Munich coach, former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has made it clear that he would like to bring Barry to Germany.
The 36-year-old is understood to be keen on joining the Bavarians and has been told by Chelsea to stay away from training while negotiations between the clubs are ongoing, per the Telegraph.
Although Bayern’s initial offer reportedly fell “well short” of Chelsea’s valuation, the parties are expected to reach an agreement.
