This afternoon, Eintracht Frankfurt announced that fans favourite Timothy Chandler has extended his stay at the club for another year.
Rumours began to circulate regarding negotiations over a deal between the player and Hessen club earlier this week.
With his new contract running until the summer of 2026, the American-German full-back stated it was “an easy decision”.
The club’s sporting director Markus Krösche also chimed in, highlighting how vital Chandler is in the dressing room and so forth.
“Timmy Chandler has a great reputation at Eintracht Frankfurt. He’s worked hard for it over the years. He remains an important player for us – both on and off the pitch.
“He’s a valuable contact person every day, especially for our young players. Therefore, we’re delighted that Timmy will be playing for us again next season,” Krösche added.
