Stade de Reims attacker Kaj Sierhuis (25) is set to leave his current club in the summer, and the player is attracting interest from Championship sides, according to L’Équipe.
Sierhuis returned to action for Reims in January after having suffered a cruciate ligament injury whilst on loan at Heracles in February 2022. He made his first start of the season in last weekend’s 2-2 draw against already-relegated SCO Angers.
However, his future looks to be away from Will Still’s side. Since his arrival at the Champagne club back in January 2020, Sierhuis has never managed to nail down a starting spot, and with just one year remaining on his contract, Reims are looking to cash in whilst they still can.
L’Équipe are now reporting that the Netherlands-born forward is attracting interest from England’s second division, the Championship. Numerous clubs have registered a concrete interest in the player, who in 16 appearances this season, has scored twice and registered one assist.
