RB Leipzig must qualify for the Champions League to keep their hopes of extending Dani Olmo’s contract alive, according to Sport Bild.
At the moment, Leipzig are not in a position to qualify for the Champions League as they are fifth in the Bundesliga.
However, Marco Rose’s troops are are just one point behind fourth-placed Freiburg and three points behind third-placed Union Berlin.
Leipzig are desperate not to lose the Spain international for nothing when his contract expires in 2024 and are keen to tie him down to a new deal.
Nevertheless, contract talks between the parties have reportedly stalled recently, with Olmo currently reluctant to sign a new deal.
