This evening’s Champions League group stage draw involved two French teams in Paris Saint-Germain and Lens, the latter making their first appearance in Europe’s premier club competition in over two decades.
The Ligue 1 champions will notably be taking on Borussia Dortmund in Group F, last year’s Bundesliga runners-up having been their Round of 16 opponents back in 2019/20, when PSG won 3-2 on aggregate. Last year’s semi-finalists and recent Serie A winners Milan join them to set up an enticing group stage campaign.
Lens, meanwhile, have been drawn up against Sevilla, Arsenal and PSV Eindhoven.
