Bild reports that Can Uzun and his camp are becoming increasingly impatient with the current situation of the forward at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday evening, Uzun was once again on the bench and was substituted in the second half.
This is a continuing trend this season, where in 21 games, Uzun has only started five times. Frankfurt and Dino Toppmöller see Uzun as less of a forward and more of someone who can play behind the striker, but instead of the 19-year-old, Ansgar Knauff and Mario Götze have been preferred over him.
However, even when he was used, Uzun produced a respectable tally of four goals and two assists.
If Uzun was to be used as a striker, he would also have to play behind Hugo Ekitiké and winter signings Michy Batshuayi and Elye Wahi, so the situation will likely not get easier in the immediate future but it also needs to be remembered that Uzun is only 19 and has plenty of time to develop.
