Emre Can believes the mentality Borussia Dortmund have shown this season should serve as an example to follow for the German national team.
Can, who has returned to the German national team set-up after emerging as one of the leading figures for BVB this season, said at a press conference today:
“Things are going really well at BVB this year, which hasn’t always been the case.
“But we’ve shown mentality and I think we can draw inspiration from that here in the national team.”
Can and Dortmund sit top of the Bundesliga, one point clear of Bayern Munich. The 29-year-old has featured 37 times for the German national team, scoring once.
