Bayern Munich host Hoffenheim tonight and although clear favourites, the Rekordmeister must be way of Andrej Kramarić. No active Bundesliga player has scored more goals against Bayern than Kramarić, who has scored against tonight’s opposition eight times in 15 games.
On the final day of the 2023/24 season, Kramarić scored a hat-trick and assisted Maximilian Beier in Hoffenheim’s 4-2 win over Bayern at the PreZero Arena.
Of course, Bayern Munich are in a far better position now under Vincent Kompany with just 13 goals conceded in after 16 games, the least of any club, by far. They also allow the least number of shots at goal while Hoffenheim under Christian Ilzer haven’t hit the ground running, yet.
Ilzer has won just one of his six Bundesliga games in charge of Hoffenheim, but Kramarić did score Hoffenheim’s last Bundesliga goal, against Borussia Mönchengladbach, on December 21. Under the Austrian, Kramarić hasn’t found his form yet, scoring just one goal in nine games. Prior to his arrival, he had five goals in nine games.
Although clear favourites, Bayern Munich will certainly be aware of Kramarić, who could leave Bayer Leverkusen within one point of the leaders come 22:30CET tonight.
