This, of course, comes fresh off a heartbreaking defeat for La Roja.
Spain marked their return to action a short time ago, making the trip to Munich for a Nations League final showdown with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal.
And despite taking the lead twice in the clash, the reigning European champions were ultimately condemned to defeat.
This came owing to an eventual penalty shootout downing, after the two countries couldn’t be separated across 120 minutes of action.
And post-match, the finger of blame for as much has been pointed squarely in the direction of one man.
The Spanish supporters have made their fury with manager Luis de la Fuente crystal clear, amid questions surrounding everything from his tactical setup to personnel decisions.
The call to hook Pedri from proceedings during the 2nd-half proved particularly unpopular, with some, in turn, having gone as far as to call for De la Fuente to be sent on his way by the RFEF as soon as possible:
