Dortmund were again not at their best against Hannover on Wednesday night, as Emre Can and Gregor Kobel tried to cool down any disagreements within the team.

Thanks to some superb Gregor Kobel saves, Borussia Dortmund escaped a test from Hannover in the second round of the DFB-Pokal. But, BVB looked unconvincing at times and several players after the game acknowledged the need to quickly improve.
When asked about Mats Hummels recent criticism of Karim Adeyemi’s play following their loss to Union Berlin over the weekend, Emre Can stated:
“I’d rather discuss it internally. I’m not the type to make it public. – Mats is different, everyone has to know that for themselves. I can’t blame him for that.”
Kobel said, “We had a meeting the next morning” after the Union loss. “Of course it’s appropriate to criticize our situation. But, it’s also important that we do it as a team.”
Edin Terzic’s 8th-place side next play at home to Stuttgart on Matchday 11.
