As recently reported by Bild, Marco Reus is willing to accept a significant pay cut in order to extend his expiring contract with Borussia Dortmund for another year.
Now, WAZ reports that Dortmund are also pursuing an extension with Mats Hummels and have made him an offer on the same terms.
Hummels is said to be the third highest paid player in Dortmund with an annual salary of 10 million euros.
Should the veteran accept a one-year extension on the same terms as Reus, he will receive a maximum of 7 million per season including bonuses.
