Speaking on his future, RB Leipzig forward Brian Brobbey has once again stated his preference to join Ajax on a permanent basis.
“I’ve said that I’d rather stay at Ajax,” Brobbey told Algemeen Dagblad. “They [RB Leipzig] understood that. They’ve said they’re open to that but I need to speak to Ajax first and I can’t go back for nothing.”
The 20-year-old Dutchman joined RB Leipzig on a free transfer last summer but failed to settle before re-joining Ajax on a six-month loan in January.
Since his return, Brobbey has scored seven goals and created one in 11 Eredivisie games for Ajax.
Brobbey has a contract until 2025 but should RB Leipzig receive a reasonable fee, they would allow the Dutchman to leave.
