According to L’Équipe, Stade Brestois 29 are in talks with Premier League outfit Burnley over a possible loan for French midfielder Han Noah Massengo (22).
Massengo has not yet played for Vincent Kompany’s struggling side but impressed in the second half of last season at AJ Auxerre, where he was on loan from English Championship team Bristol City. Auxerre were ultimately relegated from Ligue 1 on the final day of the last season, but the young Frenchman impressed enough to attract the attention of the newly promoted Premier League outfit.
Brest are currently third in Ligue 1, flying high under coach Eric Roy. Les Pirates came away with a more than creditable 2-2 draw at PSG last weekend, coming back from 2-0 down with goals from Mahdi Camara and Mathias Pereira Lage ensuring that AS Monaco would not leapfrog them into the top three following a 2-2 draw with Olympique de Marseille at Stade Vélodrome.
