Premier League side Brentford are preparing an offer of more than €20 million for Freiburg forward Kevin Schade, per Sky Germany. They had previously submitted a proposal of €15 million for the Germany U21 national team player in July. It’s still unclear whether Freiburg would accept a deal this summer, as they consider Schade a major piece to their difficult season ahead.
Schade was the 3rd fastest player in the Bundesliga last season, reaching a top speed of 36.37 km/hr. The 20-year-old has recorded five goals in 24 senior appearances for Freiburg, usually playing as a winger. He’s been out since March with an abdominal strain, but should make a return to the pitch in the coming weeks.
His contract with Freiburg expires in 2026.
