Serie A side Genoa could be set to lose some players soon, because of their ownership issues and one player who can depart is midfielder Morten Frendrup.
Liverpool have been previously linked with the Dane and so have Milan. But TMW’s Marco Conterio has reported that with an exit now a lingering possibility for the midfielder, it is another club in Brentford who are a potential favourite to land the Genoa star.
There is interest from the Bees and an exit seems like a concrete possibility and that can actually take place as early as January, when Milan would also be looking to sign a midfielder.
The report cites La Gazzetta dello Sport for Milan’s interest, with the Rossoneri also looking at Real Betis’ Johnny Cardoso, for whom Tottenham have a priority option because of their decision to sell Giovanni lo Celso to the Spanish side.
777 Partners seem set to lose control of Genoa and that can spark many exits.
