Bournemouth and Barcelona have reached a deal regarding the transfer of Norberto Murara Neto, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
As it was communicated on Tuesday, the Brazilian goalkeeper was set to go to Napoli, however the Italian club are prioritising the transfer of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea.
Neto is set to travel to Bournemouth in the next 24-48 hours to undergo his medical and sign his contract with the Premier League side.
Although it is yet to be confirmed, it is believed that the Cherries will not pay a transfer fee to secure the services of the 33-year-old.
The offloading of Neto allows the Blaugrana to further reduce their wage bill.
Neto arrived from Valencia to Barcelona in 2019 to provide competition for Marc-André ter Stegen. However, he failed to displace the German keeper from the starting XI and only made 21 appearances over the course of three seasons in all competitions.
