According to Bild, Borussia Mönchengladbach are looking to sell left-back Andreas Poulsen before pre-season training begins on June 26.
Under contract at Borussia-Park until 2023, Poulsen was signed from Midtjylland for €4.5m four years ago, but has made just one first-team appearance for the ‘Fohlen’. He has instead embarked on loan deals with Austria Vienna and Ingolstadt, but failed to pull up any trees during either spell.
Gladbach sporting director Roland Virkus recently commented on the 22-year-old’s future, stating: “We are currently working on a good solution for both sides.” If a buyer cannot be found for the Dane, it is believed Gladbach will look to terminate his contract a year early.
After a disappointing previous campaign, new head coach Daniel Farke will be looking to boost his squad this summer, with Gladbach linked to youngsters Oscar Fraulo and Noah Mbamba amongst others.
