Borussia Dortmund’s Jayden Braaf to join Hellas Verona

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Jayden Braaf (20) will leave Borussia Dortmund to join Serie A side Hellas Verona on loan with an option to buy this month.

The Dutchman has already completed his medical and the deal is expected to be completed imminently. Per Romano, Borussia Dortmund don’t have a buy-back clause, but will receive a percentage of any future fee that Hellas Verona collect.

It was reported by Kicker earlier in the week that BVB were looking to offload Braaf. The Dutch attacker hasn’t lived up to expectations, both on and off the pitch.

Braaf has played just 266 minutes across seven 3. Liga games for BVB II this season after joining Die Schwarzgelben on a free transfer from Manchester City in the summer. The Dutchman initially had to recover from a cruciate ligament injury and per the report, also had problems off the field.

BVB have reportedly fined the youngster after turning up late too many times, whilst Braaf hasn’t stuck to the agreements and ruled, according to Kicker, who add that his body language isn’t that of what BVB expect.

As a result, Braaf is likely to return to Italy, where he spent six months on loan at Udinese.
