As reported by BILD, Borussia Dortmund are close to reaching an agreement with Armin Reutershahn (62) to become an assistant to Edin Terzić following the retirement of Peter Hermann.
Reutershahn worked alongside Julian Nagelsmann for Hoffenheim in the 2015/16 season as they avoided relegation – the duo worked alongside each other for 14 games in Nagelsmann’s first position as head coach.
Reutershahn then held the position of assistant coach at Eintracht Frankfurt under Niko Kovać and Adi Hütter between 2016 and 2021 before moving to Borussia Mönchengladbach alongside Hütter, where he spent the 2021/22 season.
A Duisburg native, Reutershahn is close to finding an agreement with BVB and if a final agreement is reached, he could be ready to help Terzić at the training camp in Marbella next month as they prepare for the resumption of the Bundesliga.
This appointment after the highly-decorated Hermann retired earlier this month due to health reasons.
