Borussia Dortmund will be without Sébastien Haller and Emre Can for their Bundesliga clash against RB Leipzig at the Red Bull Arena on Saturday afternoon. Even though fifth will likely clinch Champions League football, Edin Terzic and Dortmund have ambitions to finish above Leipzig, but will be forced into making changes.
In the absence of Can, Salih Özcan should start alongside Marcel Sabitzer while Ian Maatsen suspension after accumulating five yellow cards means Niklas Süle is likely to return in defence, with Julian Ryerson switching to left-back with Ramy Bensebaini still sidelined.
Karim Adeyemi is also expected to come in for Jamie Bynoe-Gittens with Niclas Füllkrug, who opened the scoring against Bayer Leverkusen last weekend, retaining his place in the absence of Haller with Youssoufa Moukoko being an option for Terzic from the bench.
Predicted Borussia Dortmund XI vs RB Leipzig
Gregor Kobel – Niklas Süle, Mats Hummels, Nico Schlotterbeck, Julian Ryerson – Salih Özcan, Marcel Sabitzer – Jadon Sancho, Julian Brandt, Karim Adeyemi – Niclas Füllkrug.
