Borussia Dortmund are planning the contract extension of Paris Brunner (17).
The German forward does not yet have a professional contract but according to Sky Germany, Borussia Dortmund want to tie Brunner down to a contract when he turns 18. Die Schwarzgelben are already planning to include Brunner in their plans for the winter training camp in Marbella.
Brunner is very highly thought of at Borussia Dortmund and much like Youssoufa Moukoko did, is already showcasing his extraordinary ability. At 17, Brunner has scored 25 and created five in 26 appearances for the U17 squad, and has 17 goal contributions (15 goals and two assists) in 25 games for the U19 squad.
Paris Brunner excels at the U17 World Cup
Operating on the left of a front three at the U17 World Cup, Brunner scored two goals against Argentina in the semi-final, and scored the decisive penalty that secured a place against France in the final. Brunner then scored from the spot to give Germany the lead against France but missed his penalty in the shootout – although Germany still went on to be crowned champions.
Across seven games at the U17 World Cup in Indonesia, Brunner scored five and created one.
