Bild reports that Borussia Dortmund could now perform a U-turn and could try to sign Marcus Rashford to provide them with a boost this season.
Despite the financial hurdles, Rashford has now become a serious option at Dortmund, especially after the departure of Donyell Malen to Aston Villa earlier this week. It is said that Dortmund have been a lot more active on trying to bring the winger in than first thought.
Dortmund are also said to be interested in Brentford’s Kevin Schade. The former Freiburg winger would like to move back to Germany. However, the Premier League side have said to demand around €40m for Schade, which Dortmund naturally sees as too expensive.
The arrival of Rashford could provide Dortmund with a much-needed boost heading into the second half of the season as they struggle on the pitch.
Dortmund are also said to be working on other deals in this window with Chelsea duo Carney Chukwuemeka and Renato Veiga being close to the final stages of completion.
