Sport Bild, reports that Borussia Dortmund and Jude Bellingham will hold a meeting in the upcoming international break over the 19-year-old’s future.
In the meeting, Bellingham is set to reveal whether he will stay another season at Dortmund or he will leave in the summer. Dortmund believes there is a 50/50 chance he could stay at Dortmund in the summer.
Real Madrid have reportedly already held a meeting with Bellingham’s father in London last week. While Liverpool and Manchester City are also interested in the 19-year-old.
Bellingham joined Dortmund in 2020 from Birmingham for €25 million. His current contract expires in 2025. Any hope of the 19-year-old staying in Dortmund would likely see him sign an extension that would significantly increase his salary.
This season has seen his performances skyrocket. In 33 games this season, he has scored 10 goals and assisted six from midfield, he is also the third captain at Dortmund behind Mats Hummels and Marco Reus. While he was also one of the stand-out young players at the World Cup in Qatar.
