Aleksandar Pavlović (20) has been out of action for the last month after suffering a broken collarbone just eight minutes into Bayern Munich’s 4-0 win against VfB Stuttgart on October 19.
The central-midfielder had to undergo surgery and Bayern Munich didn’t expect Pavlović to play again in 2024. But that could change. Just one month after his awkward fall, the 20-year-old was back in training at Bayern’s Säbener Straße HQ on Monday, taking part in the joint warm-up before continuing his individual training program as the player’s rehabilitation continues.
As reported by kicker, it’s not yet known when Pavlović will return to first team action, but the fact that the player is now able to train means a game before Christmas could be a possibility.
It’s certainly a boost for Bayern Munich with João Palhinha sidelined for three weeks after suffering an adductor injury while on international duty with Portugal, which leaves Vincent Kompany with Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka and Konrad Laimer in central positions.
