VfL Bochum have confirmed the signing of Georgios Masouras.
The Greek winger joins the relegation-threatened Bundesliga side on loan from Olympiacos for the remainder of the season.
“The fact that we were able to sign Georgios Masouras is quite extraordinary,” said VfL Bochum head coach Dieter Hecking.
“He can be deployed in a variety of ways in attack and should give our attack new impetus and momentum. Georgios has international experience, including at the highest level, so we expect him to adapt quickly to the pace and style of the Bundesliga.
“What I like about him personally is that he really wanted to join VfL, is up for the challenge and wants to prove himself in the Bundesliga.”
Masouras, 31, has made 47 appearances for Greece, scoring 10 goals.
